As the evenings draw in, there’s something special about resisting the temptation to stay indoors and stepping out into the darkness instead. Join this short evening walk through woods and across the South Downs, where familiar paths take on a very different character after dark. If the skies are clear, we’ll look up and see what stars and constellations we can find, but this is as much about experiencing the darkness itself as the night sky.

With our eyes no longer doing all the work, we’ll walk mindfully and let our other senses take over – listening, smelling and feeling our way through the landscape. It’s a chance to step outside your comfort zone, embrace a little adventure and discover how different the countryside feels at night.

This walk costs £5.50 per person. It is payable on the night, in case the walk is cancelled due to bad weather. Payment by card or cash.

No dogs please
