Why take the bus to the National Trust’s Woolbeding Gardens when you can turn the journey into part of the experience? This delightful walk offers double the pleasure—both the destination and the journey itself.
Starting from the South Downs National Park Visitor Centre, we’ll take a leisurely one-hour stroll through meadows and along the gently meandering River Rother. Walking provides a unique perspective on the landscape, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings before reaching the gardens.
Once at Woolbeding, you’re free to explore at your own pace. Weather permitting, we’ll spend at least three hours enjoying the floral displays, tranquil grounds, and, of course, a well-earned cup of tea & scone.
Entry fee to National Trust property not included
